Competition Shooting Sports

• NRA / Winchester Marksmanship Program (Bullseye Shooting)
  • Bullseye, also known as conventional pistol, is a shooting sport in which participants shoot handguns at paper targets at fixed distances and time limits.
• International Shooting Sport Federation (ISSF)
  • The ISSF Recognizes several shooting events, some of which have Olympic status. They are divided into four disciplines: rifle, pistol, shotgun and running target.
• International Pistol Shooters Confederation (IPSC)
  • Is a shooting sport based on the concept of practical shooting. Accuracy, power and speed are all required to achieve a maximum score.
• United States Practical Shooters Association (USPSA)
  • Is nearly identical to IPSC.
• International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA)
  
  • Promotes defensive pistol shooting as a sport, using equipment including full-charge service ammunition to solve simulated "real world" self-defense scenarios.
• Bianchi Cup
  • A fusion of IPSC (without the "run and gun" element) and Bullseye Competition (except shot with two hands and going prone whenever rules allow it) where accuracy under tight time limits in 4 different simulated scenarios, known as the "Event(s)", is the basis of this competition. Shooters must start with gun in the holster on every strings of fire and distances range from 10 to 50 yards.
• Cowboy Action Shooting
  
  • Almost identical to IPSC and IDPA stage design but with Western Cowboy themed props, shot with long guns and revolvers of the same era.
• Airsoft
  
  • The sport enjoys popularity in countries such as Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Japan where civilian ownership of real firearms are illegal or extremely difficult to obtain.
